History of A.Lange & Sohne brand is unique. This brand was founded in 1785 and during its long history it saw many rises and falls, success and failures.
Timepieces by A.Lange & Sohne were famous for their fantastic quality. Escaping from persecution Lange had to leave the country. He came back in 1990 when Germany was reunited and founded new company Lange Uhren GmbH. In 1994 the company produced the first watches that had the famous logo A.Lange & Sohne. The come back turned out to be very successful. The first models produced by the new A. Lange & Sohne was Lange 1. The case of Lange 1 is made out of precious metals – gold, platinum.
