Probably not so many watch connoisseurs will have a chance to see Radiomir Chrono Rattrapante L.E. for Pisa with their own eyes. The reason for it is rather simple - it is a limited edition series consisting only of 25 watches.

But it is at least worth knowing about the existence of such a great timepiece. Officine Panerai Radiomir Chrono Rattrapante L.E was specially created for the 60-th anniversary of the Pisa Orologeria watch house (Pisa Orologeria is based in Milan, Pietro Verri st.).

Twenty of watches from the collection are made of 18K white gold and five watches of platinum. The watches are 45 mm in diameter with back and front sapphire crystals. The timepieces are water resistant down to 100 meters. As for its mechanism, it is Automatic Panerai caliber OP XVIII with 31 jewels. Moreover, the watch provides 42 hours of power reserve.

The Officine Panerai Company creates elegant watches of the highest quality. The Panerai designers' ideas are able to satisfy even the most demanding customers.

Guido Panerai and Figlio Company was founded in 1860 in Florence (Italy). The company became the official supplier of specialized and military timepieces to the Royal Italian Navy.

In 1936 the company was renamed into Officine Panerai. Officine Panerai presented the prototype of a watch for divers called Radiomir. They produced several hundreds of Radiomir watches in 1938.

In 1943 the firm launched a water resistant chronoghraph Mare Nostrum. Later, in 1950-es it created another legendary watch called Luminor.

Later the company was almost forgotten. But in 1977 it was bought by Vendome Luxury Group - one of the greatest names in the world of watch industry, witch comprises such famous companies as Cartier and Vacheron Constantin. For the time being Panerai has "remade" many of its models in limited editions and plans to raise its production in the future.
